Dr. David Manner is the Associate Executive Director of The Kansas-Nebraska Convention of Southern Baptists with primary responsibilities in the areas of leadership, worship, and administration. He holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from Oklahoma Baptist University, a Master of Church Music Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Worship Studies from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies.

Leaders must never take short-cuts in order to accelerate the process of reaching a goal without first considering if those they lead are following or even willing to follow. Leadership impatience at the expense of relational buy-in is not any more virtuous when the goal is noble.
