My Faith Is Lost & I Need Answers - My heart goes out to you, as I know the pain of consequences for my actions. Don't debate or question the obvious - of course God loves you. Remember, He gives us ALL free will, so while He may even be tugging at your wife's heart, she has free will in how to respond as well. Some things just take time, lots of time. We are powerless over other people - all we can do is control how we respond. Ask God to show you what He wants you to learn from this. If nothing else, its obviously patience. I know this stinks, but I've been there. The children burn is one that is like no other. I think sometimes the silence from God is to make us really reflect on what we've done, because there aren't any immediate answers coming. It's extremely difficult, but this too shall pass.
