- Proverbs Instruction on the Impact Our Words Can Have on Our Relationships - I have been divorced and single (as in alone ) for 30 years. I am happy alone though sometimes (like when I joined this site) I wondered what it would be like to have someone to share things with. And in that vein I wonder how all of us divorced Christians on this site can explain Mathew 5:32 :"A man (woman) who divorces his (her) spouse, unless he (she) has been unfaithful, causes her to commit adultery. And anyone who marries a divorced person commits adultery." These are the words of Jesus, and have caused me to reamin single for 30 years. If there is anyone who can give me freedom from this let me know.<br /> And Matthew 19:8: "Moses permitted divorce only as a concession to your hard hearts, but it was not what God originally intended. And I tell you whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery --unless his wife has been unfaithful". ---11: Not every one can accept this statement , Jesus said, Only those whon God helps. Some are born eunuchs, some have been made eunuchs by others and some choose not to marry for the sake of the Kingdom of heaven. Let anyone accept this who can." Again this is God's word.<br /> I would not expect to find a mate because God has helped me accept this word ---for the sake of the Kingdom. Any one else? (Jan 14, 2012)
- Managing Your Emotions and The Fruits of the Spirit - We do not manage our emotion---the Holy Spirit is in charge. The minute the big I intervenes we are in trouble. The answer is complete surrender and then not only will we bear fruit (not produce but bear) but we will enjoy the benefits of the same! Praise God for the gift of the Holy Spirit! (Jan 08, 2012)
