I was brought up in the church and thought I knew everything about the Bible, church and God himself. I had no knowledge of who God was and had no clue how blessed I was. I began to partake in drinking and partying when I was a young adult and left the church. I used so many excuses to why I did not want to go to church. Dwelling on the behaviors of others in the church was my main reason of living a life in sin. Once I hit rock bottom out in the world I realized that I would never make it in life on earth with out serving God with all my heart and fearing God in every action I committed. We have to die to the flesh daily in order to live in the spirit. My testimony is that God had mercy on my soul and allowed me to come back to him. I live for God with the best of my ability. Having the Gift of the Holy Ghost is my personal guide and my key to a relationship with God. Take the time to read the Bible for yourself. A pastor, minister, or teacher of the Bible to help us interpret the world; however we have to read for ourselves and ask God for an understanding as well.
